My 5 weeks Final Year Individual Project (FYP) back in Nanyang Polytechnic's Digital Visual Effects. This project was the one that got me the Lucasfilm award. All fx was done in Houdini. My final assignment based on my motion capture module back in Nanyang Polytechnic's Digital Visual Effects. The motion capture was done in the green screen/mocap studio with having 2 of my friends as the actors. The software Vicon Blade was used to capture the mocap data. It was then brought into MotionBuilder for me to cleanup the mocap data. It's then brought into Maya to add another layer of animation for the lightsabers. Cloth fx was done in Houdini. Original footage was shot using Canon 600D T3i. All rendered in Maya's Mental Ray and composited in Nuke.
